Prices are dependent upon area SQM of the sail or canvas to be cleaned or sailkoted. We measure every job in the factory.
  • Vacuwash only $10 per SQM for sails, and $15 per SQM for canvas. plus gst
  • SailkotePlus is the same price again, $10 per SQM for sails and $15 for canvas. plus gst
  • Larger Canvas items, eg full boat covers are priced at $10 per SQM for Vacuwash and $10 per SQM for SailkotePlus. plus gst
  • Spinnakers are priced at $7.5 per SQM for sailkoting, which includes rinsing first. plus gst

We will also just rinse spinnakers to clean them of salt, price depends on size, yet roughly 40 ft yacht will be $150 per spinnaker. They will be cleaned, dried checked for any faults, and packed away ready for next season, or next weeks race. 

The cost of cleaning works out to be roughly 10% of the value of replacing your sails, obviously this depends upon the fabric and the build quality, yet 10% is a good rule of thumb.
Our minimum charge is $50.

We get asked if cleaning your sails makes them faster, the answer is yes! a nice clean sail will get more eyeballs on it, thus trimmed to the wind, a dirty sail will not get the same trimming attention, thus a clean sail is faster...
